Article Processing Charges

The INNOVATIVE RESEARCH THOUGHTS (IRT) is dedicated to providing a forum for high-quality research in the field of multidisciplinary studies. IRT charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of open access publication, manuscript management, and maintaining the highest publishing standards.

APC Structure:
For Authors from India: INR 5000
For Authors from Other South Asian Countries: $100
For Articles with Female Authorship: $100 (regardless of the country of origin)
For Authors from Rest of the World: $150

Fee-Waiver Program:
IRT realises that some authors may have budgetary difficulties. In order to ensure that financial hurdles do not prevent the publication of valuable research, we provide a fee-waiver programme.
Authors can request a fee waiver, which may reduce the APC by up to 50%. The decision to award a waiver is based on the author(s)' financial needs and the quality of the work presented.
To apply for the fee-waiver programme, writers should follow the steps outlined in Fee Waiver Programme. Requests for waivers must be made prior to or at the time of manuscript submission.
APC Payment and Timing:
The APC is due once a work has been peer reviewed and accepted for publication.
Invoices will be issued to the associated author or the institution that funds the research, as specified by the authors.
Payment instructions will be provided with the invoice, including acceptable payment options.

Transparency and Use of Funds:
APCs are used directly to cover the costs of handling the peer-review process, journal production, online hosting, and indexing, as well as making articles publicly available immediately after publication.
IRT is a non-profit organisation, and all fees go towards sustaining and improving the journal's quality and breadth.
We feel that this APC structure reflects our dedication to open access and global research dissemination, while also providing options for individuals in need of financial assistance.
