Agriculture remains the backbone of the Indian economy, employing nearly half of the workforce. However, unsustainable practices have led to soil degradation, groundwater depletion, and reduced biodiversity. This paper examines sustainable agriculture practices in India, such as organic farming, crop rotation, integrated pest management, and agro forestry. Through a mixed-method approach involving secondary data and case studies, this research identifies challenges like lack of awareness, financial constraints, and policy gaps. The study concludes that with proper support and education, sustainable agriculture can significantly improve food security, environmental health, and farmer welfare.
